From your first message to aftercare: how treatment at MEDISMILE in Budapest works in practice — and how costs become transparent before you decide.
First contact
The easiest start: send us your request — ideally with existing records or x-rays. On that basis a video consultation is possible, where we answer questions and assess which examination makes sense. A German phone line is available for patients from Germany.
Examination & written cost plan
Serious costs can only be named after examination and diagnosis — we deliberately quote no flat catalogue prices without findings. After the initial examination you receive a written, itemised cost plan before treatment begins: findings-dependent and the basis for your decision. Treatment starts only once you agree.
Treatment rhythm & stays
How many stays are needed depends on the findings. As orientation: for implants, a first stay of about 2 nights is typically planned (examination, planning, implant placement), followed by around 4 months of healing at home and a second stay of 3–4 days for the prosthetic restoration. Veneer and full-mouth treatments are typically completed in one stay of 3–4 days — made possible not least by the in-house master laboratory. You receive your concrete schedule together with the cost plan.
Getting here & location
The practice is at Szervita tér 8 in the centre of Budapest (district V), easy to reach from Budapest Airport; hotels of all categories are within walking distance. Appointments are planned to fit arrival and departure.
Aftercare
Follow-up and aftercare appointments take place in Budapest. For patients in the Hamburg area, check-ups can also be attended in Hamburg by arrangement — at the MEDIKUSS practice, a separate practice under the same medical lead. Between appointments we are available by phone and email.
Responsibility & limits
We do not give blanket success or longevity guarantees — they would not be serious. What you get: documented planning, defined responsibility (specialists in oral and maxillofacial surgery), a written cost plan and organised aftercare. Warranty questions are settled findings-dependent and in writing in the treatment agreement.
