Examination and planning
Examination can take place in Budapest or Hamburg. Existing records and, if useful, a video consultation help with preparation. Which findings we need in advance and how they are sent is agreed with you. After the examination you receive a written, itemised cost plan and your personal schedule — findings-dependent, before treatment starts.
Implant placement in Budapest
For placing the implants the model plans a stay of about 2–3 days. The procedure is carried out in Budapest under oral and maxillofacial specialist lead. The same medical lead does not mean every appointment is with the same person. Duration and extent are recorded in the treatment plan after the findings.
Healing and check-ups
Healing is at home and can take some months. Check-ups are possible in Hamburg or Budapest. We agree contacts and place before we start, and we summarise the next appointments in writing before you return. Records are not automatically available at both sites — the transfer path is agreed with you.
Prosthesis at the place you choose
The prosthetic restoration can take place in Hamburg or Budapest. For Budapest, about 3–5 days on site is a planning example: planning, fabrication in the in-house master laboratory and insertion in the same city. If you choose Hamburg, planning, insertion and the laboratory path for that location are recorded in writing before the appointment. The concrete schedule follows the findings.
If you have complaints
In this implant model, aftercare is possible in Hamburg or Budapest — as an agreed choice of place, not a vague “perhaps”. Between appointments the practice is reachable by phone and email. Scope, the responsible practice and possible costs are named in writing before we start. Automatic cost-free care or an unnamed emergency line is not part of this statement.
Responsibilities and agreements
Before each step we name in writing the actual practice, the contracting partner and the people you can contact. The MEDISMILE brand is not the same thing as the legal contracting partner. The same medical lead in Budapest and Hamburg does not mean every appointment is with the same physician.
What to settle before dental treatment in Hungary
Before you travel, the scope of treatment, the schedule and the people you can contact should be clear. Your written cost plan shows which services are agreed. Your personal total also includes travel, accommodation, any further stays and the planned aftercare. Extra services and what happens if you have complaints are discussed in advance. We do not promise a fixed number of trips.
Veneers and full-mouth — a separate timetable
Veneer and full-mouth treatments are typically completed in one stay of 3–4 days in Budapest — supported by the in-house master laboratory. That is not the implant course: months of healing do not belong in that short phase. Check-ups after those treatments take place in Budapest; a Hamburg option as in the implant model is not a blanket promise. Your concrete schedule comes with the cost plan.

The practice is at Szervita tér 8 in the centre of Budapest (district V), easy to reach from Budapest Airport; hotels of all categories are within walking distance. Appointments are planned to fit arrival and departure.

Besides agreed treatment fees, allow for travel, accommodation and any further stays. Ask which check-ups and aftercare are included in the cost plan and which extra costs can arise. Treatment fees at MEDISMILE are itemised in writing after examination and diagnosis.
How is my cost plan built?+
Your plan lists individual services after the findings — not a flat catalogue price. It is issued after examination and is the basis for your decision. Treatment starts only once you agree. We do not rate or disparage other providers’ prices.
How many trips do I need for implants?+
That depends on findings, healing and whether you attend the prosthesis and check-ups in Hamburg or Budapest. In this model, placement is planned in Budapest; a further stay may follow, but we do not lock you into “always two trips” or promise a path without another flight.
Where do check-ups and aftercare take place?+
In the implant model, in Hamburg or Budapest. Hamburg aftercare appointments are at MEDIKUSS, a separate practice under the same medical lead. Contacts, place, agreed services and possible costs are recorded in writing before we start.
How long do veneer or full-mouth treatments take?+
Typically one stay of 3–4 days in Budapest — supported by the in-house master laboratory. That is not the implant course with healing. The concrete schedule depends on findings and comes with the cost plan.
Can I have a video consultation first?+
Yes. Send your request with existing records; on that basis a video consultation is possible before the examination date and travel are fixed.
